⚠️ SAFETY AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ALERT
FILTER DRIER REPLACEMENT PRECAUTIONS
Mandatory Replacement During Refrigeration Service: The filter drier must be replaced with a new one whenever the refrigeration system is opened for service, including compressor replacement, valve replacement, or refrigerant leak repairs. Replacement must be performed by a qualified refrigeration technician.
Proper Brazing Procedure: Installation requires proper brazing techniques with a continuous nitrogen purge to help prevent internal oxidation and scale formation inside the tubing.
Check Refrigerant Flow Direction: Observe the flow-direction arrow marked on the filter drier body during installation. Installing the filter in the incorrect direction may compromise proper operation and filtration performance.
Vacuum Procedure: After replacing the filter drier, perform a complete evacuation of the refrigeration system using an appropriate vacuum pump before charging the system with refrigerant.
