COIL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PRECAUTIONS
Professional Installation Required: Replacement of this assembly requires proper welding/brazing procedures performed by a qualified refrigeration technician, using a continuous nitrogen purge to help prevent internal contamination and oxidation.
Vacuum and Refrigerant Charge: After installing the coil, a deep vacuum must be performed on the refrigeration circuit before accurately charging the system with refrigerant. The filter drier should also be replaced during this service.
Freezing Fluid Maintenance: Keep the concentration and pH of the tank’s heat-transfer fluid within the levels recommended by Finamac to help prevent premature oxidation and corrosion of the coil tubing.
