MACHINE CASTER CARE
Proper Brake Use: Always engage the caster brakes before starting a production cycle or cleaning the machine. Operating the equipment without properly locking the casters may allow the machine to move due to vibration, creating a safety hazard.
Brake Mechanism Inspection: Periodically check that the brake pedal locks the wheel securely and that no dirt or residue is preventing the wheel from being fully immobilized.
Axle Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the caster clean and free from threads, lint, or hardened debris wrapped around the axle to preserve smooth multidirectional movement and proper brake operation.
