EXPANSION VALVE AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS
Professional Installation Required: Replacing the expansion valve requires a qualified refrigeration technician using proper procedures, including brazing under a nitrogen atmosphere, deep vacuum, and precise refrigerant charging.
Thermostatic Bulb Installation: Make sure the sensing bulb is properly secured and insulated at the evaporator outlet. An incorrectly positioned or uninsulated bulb may cause unstable regulation, improper freezing, or liquid refrigerant floodback to the compressor.
