🍸WHY THIS BUSINESS MODEL STANDS OUT
Producing water-based ice pops, paletas, or flavored ice is one of the most accessible business opportunities in the food and beverage industry, combining low initial investment with the potential for strong profit margins.
For the production of milk-based ice pops, we recommend using pre-pasteurized mixes or the Finamac PP60 heat treatment machine, which is not included in this package.
Flavored ice can also be supplied to bars and restaurants for use in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, expanding your commercial possibilities beyond retail frozen treats.
Simple to implement and based on straightforward formulations, this product line is often the ideal starting point for entrepreneurs entering the artisanal segment - and just as attractive for companies looking to expand an existing operation.
This business can be structured in different ways:
- as a manufacturing operation only, supplying stores and distributors
- as a combined factory and retail store
- or as a scalable multi-unit model, whether franchise-based or company-owned

📊ESTIMATED REVENUE POTENTIAL
Illustrative annual revenue estimate (symbolic currency): 1.05 million coins
Assuming a production schedule of 5 hours per day, plus 3 additional hours for preparation and logistics, this setup can produce approximately 1,400 ice pops of 63 ml per day, or 28,000 ice pops per month based on 20 working days.
Considering the seasonality of the business, let us assume:
- 3 months per year at full production
- 9 months per year at half that output
Under this scenario, annual production reaches approximately 210,000 ice pops per year.
For this example, we assume a selling price of 5 symbolic coins per ice pop, which may vary depending on whether the product is sold wholesale or directly to the end consumer. Based on that assumption, the estimated annual revenue reaches 1.05 million symbolic coins.
The average production cost per ice pop may range from 0.20 to 0.80 symbolic coins, depending on the recipe and ingredients, including natural fruit.
Naturally, additional costs must also be considered, such as:
- labor
- rent
- equipment depreciation
- taxes
- sales expenses
- logistics
- and other operating costs
Sales growth toward the level of 1,400 ice pops per day is gradual and depends largely on the business’s ability to promote and expand its market presence.
Profit margins can be highly attractive, but they depend on effective management of all these variables, as well as many other strategic factors. In our ice pop production courses, we go into greater depth on the elements that drive long-term business success.

🏭RECOMMENDED MACHINES
The ROBOPOP is the most advanced ice pop production machine in the world. It features a built-in unmolding tank and a mobile platform that moves across the molds, eliminating the need to remove molds from the machine during operation.
This greatly reduces dripping and other inconveniences in the production area, creating a cleaner and more efficient workflow. It is, in practice, a complete workstation.
The machine operates with FINAFLUID, Finamac’s exclusive freezing fluid, approved for food contact and non-flammable. Unlike conventional fluids, FINAFLUID does not thicken at low temperatures, which helps maintain production speed even at extremely low operating temperatures as -35°C (-31°F) or below.
The Flex Mixer15 is an advanced machine for ingredient homogenization and aeration. It includes a removable container with an integrated faucet, making it highly practical for dosing molds for popsicles and flavored ice.
This equipment plays a key role in improving mixture consistency and enabling aeration in the production process.
Note: table not included.
The Sealer is a compact manual machine used for sealing ice pop packaging. Easy to operate and practical in daily production, it helps deliver a clean, professional product presentation.
Standard and customized packaging options, as well as standard or personalized sticks, may be available depending on the application.
