🍸 A STRONGER PRODUCT MIX FOR GREATER MARKET VALUE
The global Açaí ice cream market is estimated at USD 1.3 billion (2025), with most of it being consumed in Brazil, as it is a major producer of this fruit in the Amazon, approximately 1.7 million tons in 2023. Producing Açaí ice cream has been a highly profitable business, especially due to its nutritional appeal, high energy density, antioxidant power, cardiovascular health benefits, and, also very importantly, because it is consumed year-round, unlike the seasonality of conventional ice creams.
Simple to implement and with uncomplicated recipes, this equipment line is often the ideal starting point for entrepreneurs entering this segment - and equally attractive for entrepreneurs who wish to expand an existing operation.
The business can be structured in different ways:
• as an exclusively manufacturing operation, supplying stores and distributors
• as a factory combined with a retail store
• or as a scalable multi-unit model, whether through franchises or company-owned units

📊 ESTIMATED REVENUE POTENTIAL
Illustrative estimate of annual revenue (symbolic currency): 1.76 million coins.
Considering a production schedule of 5 hours per day, plus an additional 3 hours for preparation and logistics, this setup can produce approximately 500 liters of Açaí ice cream per day, or 10,000 liters per month based on 20 working days.
Considering that production remains constant throughout the year, with slight seasonal variation, and considering 11 months of work and 1 month without production (cleaning, maintenance, and rest days), we may consider that production can reach 110,000 liters per year or 880,000 125ml scoops of Açaí ice cream.
For this example, we considered a selling price of 2 symbolic coins per 125ml scoop of Açaí ice cream, which may vary depending on whether the product is sold wholesale or retail.
Based on this assumption, the estimated annual revenue reaches 1.76 million symbolic coins.
On average, one scoop of ice cream can be sold to the consumer for up to 6 symbolic coins, which greatly increases profitability for those who produce and sell directly to the consumer.
The average production cost per 125ml scoop of Açaí ice cream is around 0.80 symbolic coins, depending on the percentage of Açaí pulp in the recipe (30% to 70%) and the amount of air incorporated (10% to 30%).
Ice cream is typically packaged in disposable 5 or 10-liter containers for wholesale, in 100 to 500ml containers for retail, and also in scoops for direct sales.
Naturally, other costs must also be considered, such as:
• labor
• rent
• equipment depreciation
• taxes
• commercial expenses
• logistics
• and other operating costs
Sales growth up to 500 liters per day is gradual and depends largely on the business’s ability to promote itself and expand its presence in the market.
Profit margins can be quite attractive, but they depend on the efficient management of all these variables, as well as many other strategic factors. In our Açaí production courses, we go deeper into the elements that drive long-term business success.

🏭 RECOMMENDED MACHINES
❶ PRO 16
Batch Freezer for Açaí and ice cream production with up to 70% air incorporation (ice cream) and up to 30% (Açaí). The only one on the market with this advantage. In addition to producing traditional ice cream, premium ice cream, and Açaí, gelato is also an important product that can be made with it, with lower air incorporation. It is equipment with more than 20 years of presence in the best ice cream shops; simple to use, efficient, and profitable.
❷ Mixer15
A seemingly simple piece of equipment, often mistaken for a standard blender, but it is much more than that: it is capable of homogenizing ingredients and reducing particle size to provide remarkable smoothness to the final product. In addition, it incorporates air into the mixture, substantially increasing profitability. Not supplied with a table.
❸ Frutmix100
Frozen Açaí pulp grinder. As it is a fruit that oxidizes easily, it must be processed and frozen quickly to preserve its nutritional properties. Frozen pulp cannot be heated for thawing, as oxidation increases with temperature.
For this reason, the grinder becomes essential to liquefy the pulp and allow the addition of other fruits, sugars, and other desirable ingredients, using the ❷ Mixer15.
The liquid mixture is then inserted into the ice cream machine to achieve the temperature, creaminess, and aeration required for the final product.
❹ Cooling Tower 5TR
Equipment required to cool the ice cream production machine. It must be installed outside the production environment.
