SEALING GASKET CARE
Inspection for Wear and Drying: Replace the gasket immediately if it shows cracks, deformation, loss of elasticity, or discoloration. Worn gaskets lose their sealing capability and may develop micro-cracks where bacteria can accumulate.
Proper Alignment During Installation: When closing the TC clamp, make sure the gasket is properly centered between the two flanges. Installing the gasket pinched or misaligned may cause product leakage and can cut or damage the sealing ring.
Proper Cleaning: Remove the gasket during each cleaning cycle for individual washing and sanitizing. Avoid using sharp or pointed objects to remove the gasket from the connection, as they may puncture or damage the component.
