TRI-CLAMP SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS
Proper Gasket Positioning: Make sure the TC gasket (rubber/silicone sealing ring) is perfectly centered between the two flanges before closing the clamp. Tightening the clamp with the gasket pinched or misaligned may cause product leakage and damage the gasket.
Proper Hand Tightening: Tighten the clamp by hand only until it feels secure. Avoid using pliers or other tools to overtighten the wing nut, as excessive force may deform the flanges or crush the sealing gasket.
