SCRAPER SPRING CARE

Loss of Spring Tension: Fatigued springs lose their ability to press the side scraper blade firmly against the cylinder wall. This may allow a frozen layer of ice cream mix to build up on the cylinder surface, reducing heat transfer, increasing mixing/freezing time, and raising energy consumption.

Replace as a Complete Set: Always replace the complete set of springs together with the side scraper blades to maintain balanced pressure distribution throughout the beater assembly.

Cleaning and Installation: During daily cleaning, make sure the spring is clean and free from dried product residue. During reassembly, confirm that the spring is properly seated in its housing before inserting the beater assembly into the cylinder.
