The New Generation of Curved Glass: ELEGANCE 12 and SUPREMA 24 Display Cases

After the year 2000, various types of curved and tempered low-emissivity (Low-E) glass began to emerge, repelling light heat entering the ice cream compartment while offering double-glazed and/or heated options.

The preferred format was the iconic curve featured in the Finamac ELEGANCE and SUPREMA display cases—one designed for 12 Gastronorm ice cream tubs and the other for 24 tubs.

Superior Engineering in Fiberglass and Stainless Steel

Much like the pioneering Finamac V17 WAVE display cases, the ELEGANCE and SUPREMA models were built using fiberglass and stainless steel on the exterior and fiberglass on the interior. This sets them apart from conventional market displays made with pressed wood (MDF) and assembled stainless steel sheets, which made cleaning difficult and absorbed moisture over time.

Advanced Technical Solutions and Sales Success

These two display cases remain bestsellers to this day, engineered with advanced technical solutions such as:

  • Heated Double-Pane Tilting Glass: Maximum visibility without fogging and superior thermal protection.
  • High-Incline Tub Display: Forward-projected arrangement to highlight ice creams and popsicles.
  • Reverse-Cycle Defrosting: Fast and efficient defrosting to maintain optimal serving temperatures.
  • System Tropicalization: Guaranteed performance even in high-ambient temperature environments.
  • Hygiene and Attractive Design: Seamless fiberglass interior structure for effortless daily cleaning combined with a modern aesthetic.

Elegance and technology: A significant boost in sales.
