HEATING TANK SCRAPER BLADE CARE

Inspection for Heat-Related Wear: Periodically inspect the condition of the scraper blade. Worn blades may no longer scrape the tank walls effectively, allowing the ice cream mix to stick to the heated metal surface and potentially develop a burnt flavor.

Proper Cleaning: Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Do not use steel wool or abrasive materials that may scratch the surface and create grooves where food residue can accumulate.

Proper Installation: Make sure the scraper blade is correctly seated in its support on the upper beater assembly before starting the heating cycle. Incorrect installation may cause jamming or uneven wear.
